Zirconia Stabilized with Yttria Crucibles
Goodfellow can now offer Yttria stabilized Zirconia crucibles. These crucibles are ideal for specialist applications, and Yttria stabilized Zirconia offers several benefits.
- A melting point 500 degrees C higher than Alumina.
- Low thermal conductivity. These crucibles can be used in areas of extreme mechanical abrasion and thermal shock.
- Fracture toughness x 2 higher than Alumina.
- High quality surface finish.
- High resistance to chemical attack.
